【Important】 Please be sure to read and accept the following terms if you are interested in using
the National Art Center, Tokyo (NACT) press images.
NACT Image Lending Terms
In order to lend press images the NACT asks the borrower to fill out some personal information and to agree to the following terms.
- Use of press images is limited to publications / television programs intended for the promotion of the NACT.
- When featuring press images, the NACT’s name, its location, opening hours, closed days, inquiries and the credits must be included. Image credits: “The National Art Center, Tokyo” or “©The National Art Center, Tokyo”.
- Please send the draft of the publication / program to the NACT Office of Communications and International Affairs for final approval.
- Image modification, processing, re-use or any use with a different purpose from 1. is prohibited.Please discard the image files after use. Do not store the images or offer them to third parties.When featuring on WEB, please ensure images are copy-guarded (no right-click, no download) or that they have a resolution of 72dpi or less.
- The images must not be used in a feature other than the one the media has applied for. If you want to use the images again for a different media activity please re-apply for approval. After publication/broadcasting, please provide a copy, a link to the internet page, or a DVD of the publication/feature. Digital format (PDF, URL, etc.) also accepted.Press images are protected by copyright. Upon approval, mass media are allowed to use the images. In instances where an application form has been filled out with false information and in cases where the press images have been downloaded by someone not representing any mass media approved in the application, the NACT may seek compensation for any damage caused.
Shooting, Filming at the National Art Center, Tokyo
The National Art Center, Tokyo (NACT) welcomes requests for interviews and photography of the facility where the NACT is acknowledged on TV programs, publications, web sites, etc.
Shooting/ filming hours : only on Tuesdays (when NACT is closed), approx. 1 hour between 10:00 and 17:00.
*We may not be able to meet your requests depend on the content and / or the situation in the building.

If the photography/film is not intended for use in publicizing the NACT, (only use the facility as a location etc.), as a general rule, there will be an additional charge requested.
If you wish to photograph the exterior and interior of the NACT, for a magazine photo shoot or new product announcements etc. please refer to this page (in Japanese only)
