NACT Etiquette: Enhancing Your Visit to the National Art Center, Tokyo
We encourage all visitors to fully enjoy the center’s diverse facilities and exhibitions throughout the year. To ensure a seamless experience, here are some basic guidelines to follow:
1. While photographing in public spaces is generally permitted, regulations vary depending on the exhibition and the artwork on display. Please see the posted notices regarding photograph permissions for each specific exhibition, and feel free to ask staff if there are any questions.
2. Pencils are available if you would like to jot down notes or memos during your visit. We kindly ask that mechanical pencils or pens not be used on the premises.
3. Please refrain from bringing fresh flowers and plants as they can introduce insects and pollen into the exhibition space, potentially damaging the artwork.
